The website describes our services and how to reach us. It is provided for general information. It is not financial, legal or professional advice, and it is not an offer to buy or sell currency or to send money on any particular terms.

We do not publish exchange rates on this website. Rates and fees change throughout the day and are confirmed in the shop at the time of the transaction. Any rate mentioned by phone or in writing is indicative only until the transaction is completed.

All currency exchange and money-transfer transactions take place in person at our shop. Canadian law requires us to verify your identity; you will be asked for two pieces of identification, one of which must be government-issued photo ID. We may set limits on transaction amounts (currently a maximum of CAD 10,000 per transaction) and may decline a transaction where the law or our policies require it.

Where a money transfer is carried out through a third-party provider, it is also subject to that provider's own terms, which you will be given at the time of the transaction.

Flight booking, tutoring, phone repair and life insurance are offered separately. Terms, prices and availability are confirmed at the shop. Life insurance is offered only through a licensed Alberta agent and is subject to the insurer's policy terms. Help with other types of insurance is a translation service only.

You may use the contact form to ask questions. Please do not send identification numbers, account numbers or other sensitive details through it. We aim to reply within two business days but do not guarantee a response time. Sending a message does not create a transaction or a contract.

We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, including opening hours, but we do not guarantee it. Holiday hours may differ; please call ahead. The website may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

The text, logo, illustrations and design of this website belong to Nala Financial and Travel Services Inc. or are used under licence. You may view and print pages for personal use but may not copy, reuse or modify the content for any other purpose without our written permission.

The website links to or embeds services run by others, such as Google Maps and our form provider. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful, that could damage or overload it, or that interferes with anyone else's use of it, including by submitting spam or automated requests through the contact form.

To the extent permitted by law, Nala Financial and Travel Services Inc. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content, including reliance on any information on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under consumer protection legislation.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the website will be dealt with by the courts of Alberta.

We may change these terms at any time by posting the updated version here. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
